Hawk Ceramic pads FTW.

I have just some ebay drilled/slotted rotors and they are great. eBay seller was "raceconcepts" or something like that.

Not sure which is the better between drilled or slotted--but,

I have drilled Powerslot rotors (were like 160 for set of 4)--made a huge difference, even with stock pads. Wore the stock pads faster though, so you're definitely going to want to upgrade pads. Besides, stock brake dust is icky-looking. I would also look into some kind of rotor that is rust-resistant. Mine started accumulating rust after about 2 weeks on the roads (but they use salt here so that doesn't help at all)

I've heard rumors that the rotors that are drilled AND slotted have a tendency to shatter under extreme heat. Can't vouch for that though. I'd just pick one or the other.

The pads that I have are Hawk HPS street/track pads. I'm extremely happy with their stopping power, and won't be putting anything else on my car--(I've put them through a lot in commuting traffic, around town, road trips across country, and hard driving in the Utah canyons--so I KNOW they last a long time and are dependable/predictable.) I've also heard good things about EBC pads.

drilled and slotted rotors are good for cooling. Ceramic pads from what I have learned can be hard on your rotors. However slotted/drilled rotors and ceramic pads are for RACING.

If you take a rotor and drill it and slot it, you are removing surface area which is not actually good for performance. If you race your car then drilled/slotted rotors can be beneficial only because they can cool faster. On road there is absolutely no reason to have slotted/drilled rotors. There are many a argument over ceramic pads, I would just get Hawk HPS pads (look on TTR). Now slotted rotors do help to allow gases to escape from between the pads and rotor, AND will clean the surface of your pads. So if you are going to get new rotors I would at most get slotted rotors and then those HPS pads. - for a daily driver (but would still work well at the track)

drilled will crack from hole to hole unless countersunk but even then that only happens under hard driving

Powerslot and HAWK are a good choice,

Also, the complete EBC rotors, and Green Pads are another good choice.

I have EBC Sport Rotors and Green stuff pads... after brake in, they are AMAZING!!

Plus they give you the Slotted and dimpled which isn't quite drilled, but they won't crack on you like cross drilled rotors can.

Oh and the Zinc coating is sexy... now rusty hubs!

I drive my car too damn much for any rust to stay on, lol. But nah, they still look fine IMO.
