Brake kit question

SO my front brakes are shot. I'm debating whether or not to just buy "premium" rotors and pads or get the Baer front upgrade kit. Its like $660. EVENTUALLY, I'd like to get the car up to about 300hp (will that ever really happen? I dunno). Is anyone here familiar with that kit? I've heard that slotted and drilled rotors are essentially pointless and can crack, but since this is the first time I've even had to think about my brakes I'm asking around for advice.

Yeah, Im in Davie. I've been meaning to get out there, but my work schedule until recently was terrible. Do the Brembos require the use of spacers? I've heard conflicting information about this.
