Brake line questions

Brake lines are definitely next up on the to do list, hopefully before it gets too cold out. I've heard good things about Goodridge from several different people. I've also seen Russell stainless brake lines on several CSS vendors' sites for less than the Goodridge lines. These are my questions:

1) Is anybody running Russell lines here? If so, what is your opinion of them?

2) Are the Goodridge lines worth the extra money?

Keep in mind, I'm obviously not taking my car to the track every week (2007 LT, no engine mods). Right now, I'm doing up the suspension/brakes so I can get a better feel for the car before I start adding power. Any opinions on the subject would be appreciated.

russel makes good stuff, never used they pre-made brake lines but ive used the fittings and built my own hoses before. my last car i had goodridge lines on because thats all i could find for it. they were decent wuality and worked well. iirc the russel lines have a dot compliance tag on them, my goodridge lines didnt. not a big deal unless you get sent for a vehicle inspection at some point.
