Brembo Calipers Repaint!

So this is the 2nd time I have refinished my calipers but this time around, I wanted to do something a little different from all the Blacks, Golds, Reds, etc.... My Red SS Cobalt, I had painted my Brembo's with a silver ceramic paint and a red Brembo HR decal, but my new sedan is Imperial Blue, and I wanted to go with a dark color, so I finally chose Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Cermaic paint (Cast Coat Iron) and a silver HR Brembo decal.

After cleaning the calipers with brake cleaner, then scrubbing with soap/water, then spraying more cleaner, I put on 2 coats of paint, let dry, then applied the decal (slowly), then 3 coats of Duplic-Color ceramic clear coat. I think it turned out good and it matches the whole package of the car now, as I just refinished my wheels using Rustolem Graphite Met and Clear.

Heat Resistant

guess I should have provided before shots... lol... here ya go... Note: the Calipers change in diff light and the brembo decal is slightly larger than stock...

Here is repaint I did on my old 08 SS. The guy who bought it drove it to San Diego last year and says they still look great. This time around I painted the hubs too, which looks much cleaner.

Looks good, just enough of a difference to be stylish without being tacky.

That looks real good as long as with the silver and red looking damn good. I was thinking about doing a silver on mine, but idk. I'm waiting till spring to pull the trigger on a color.

Easier to use a grocery bag over the rotors that way you won't have any over spray marks like yours on the rotor etc.

looks gud especially for doing it on the car....though you would have to clean then fully before painting.
