Bumpstop/alignment questions w megan springs

Hey guys, in a couple hours ill be putting megan springs on my LS Sedan (screw you recent haters). Re using stock struts for now and will get Fe5's in the spring.

Anyways, couple questions:

With a 2.0" drop on megans, should i cut the bumpstops? If so how much? 1/2"? Pro/cons? I know that they are there to save the struts but with I bottom out prematurely?

And the other question I had was that Im putting the springs on today but wont be able to get an alignment until next wednesday (only open late night at my dealership for techs, and im in sales). Will I be ok for a week or are my tires going to carve slices of pie?

Don't cut the bumpstops, even if the instructions say so. Better to bottom out on the bump stops than to bottom out the struts internally.

You should be just fine waiting a week for an alignment.

Thanks Tommy! Hopefully Ill have a decent look cobalt after today, ill update pics tomorrow, so far just exterior mods since the 2.2 is hopeless without F/I. Lowered, tinted, tinted tails, black dipped enkeis, blacked out headlights (waiting on Morimoto projectors).

Need some URGENT help here guys, im putting the backs in now, the tight coils are supposed to go on the bottom right?

Regardless, either way i do it the bottom mount isnt tight and the spring moves around a bit when theres weight on it, cant figure ot what im doing wrong, at first glace they might be the wrong springs or something, i bought them off a guy on craigslist that showed his 4dr LS lowered on them and he seemed like a cool guy... What could be going on here?

i just stood both megan and stock rear spring next to each other and the bottom coil on the factory is tighter than the megan which looks like its going to allow it to move abit, the fronts fit good and are on so i know they are they right springs.
