True, I mean, the Cobalt is a nice car, even the base models are alright. It's just stupid **** that is cheaply built. The motor is good though, I must say.

I agree with that^^ hey atleast chevy got some things correct with this car, looks good, sound system is nice, comforatable, and pretty quick... i just thought having the cobalt would go good with my camaro but i kinda wish i woulda got a newer honda. but i dont totally regret this decision maybe with some mods id enjoy the car a whole lot more, thanks to everyone that posted.

Im happy with mine at 142k miles. I mean, ****. I only replaced the things that you would typically expect to go in any vehicle with that kinds of mileage ( struts, shocks, LCA Bushings,Sway Bar Bushings, IC Pump, tires)

im very surprised how some of you have bad luck. not me. very happy with the car i got.

In fact, I expect to be near 200k miles when i pay it off in two years. gotta be a record of some sort. lol

i had the same clunk!!! it's your strut going bad. i have a pontiac G5 Gt had to replace both front struts with only 18,000 in it... or could also be sway bar. some how my sway bar came un-attached and was just swinging around clunkin underneath my car. neither are to serious but should probably change ur struts soon, and do both sides cause if one is bad then the other will blow soon. if you really want to make sure it your struts just look at them the oil/gas or whatever is in them will be on them it leaks out. the clunk went away...for now lol
