clunking when turning in front

ok just put springs on my 06ss/na i had cut springs before that were about an inch lower than the ones i have now
ever time i turn yo can hear them like they are moving the guy said i need new spring insulators and it would stop but why would they do it now is it because these springs have movement in them where as my cut ones you could sit on the front of the car and it would no move
help please every time i turn i think my car is gonna fall apart
