coilbound sportlines?

i have sportlines on my ss, just put them on about 3 weeks ago. when i was under the car this afternoon, i noticed that the damn things are almost entirely coilbound in the rear. of the 5 coils of spring, 4 are smashed into each other, and only the lowest has any space (about an inch).

is this normal for sportlines, or should i be worried?
