Coilover Q's
then thats what you are hitting on.
this is all my opinion...i could be doing it very wrong, well oh well...
what i did was completely pull out my bump stops. just pulled out the entire thing. after that it wasnt as bad but on big bumps it still banged. so what i did next was i took that black plastic part the goes into the top of the spring off. then i totally cut off the part that sticks down. ever sense then i have not felt it bang at all. it feels like i finally have the full compression stroke.

I understand the point of the bump stops on stock springs and lowering springs you still need them. But for coilovers what is the point of leaving them in? YOu adjust the body of the shock. So you aren't messing with the amount of shock stroke length. So IMO the bump stops or useless if you have coilovers. Like on mine with the coilovers all the way lowered I was almost sitting on the bump stops and my shocks were barely even compressed.
he is talking about adjusting the shocks lower. as in lowering your car

he is not talking about making the shocks lower. he's talking talking about making them shorter. the stance shocks are height adjustable for preload on the spring. however that is not what's happening here. what is happening is that the black plastic upper spring seat which also holds the bumpstop is hitting the spring perch. it needs to be cut off
