coilover rear ride height help

i have had coilovers on for awhile. they are Ark DT-P coilovers. i was looking at the car today and noticed that the right rear was higher then the left. about half an inch higher. measured the shock from bolt to bolt and the distance was the same. so i took off the right shock and made it shorter by about half an inch, put it back together and then they were .25 inches different, right was still higher. the left side also got lower but not very much. so instead of lowering the right more i tried to raise the left to even it out. i made the shock .3 or so longer. put it back in and it didnt make a difference. the measurements right now from ground to top of the arch are:

left rear 24 7/8

right rear 25 1/4.

i am trying to get them both at 25. any ideas?

cobalts are notorious for uneven ride height

Yeah but even adjusting the shock doesn't help. Is it something I have to live with?

I have the same issue with mine, sane problem when I was on pedders spring and still have it now that I'm on ark stp coils, you might wanna try putting a half inch spacer under the lower side spring mount, like under where the spring sits, might help

I haven't really tried to adjust the issue yet but I know alot of ppl have the same issue

Yeah I was thinking about doing that. It's weird that the shock doesn't fix it. I guess the drivers side of the car is heavier. The springs are both set to the same height. Hopefully the spacer works

Well we sit on the drivers side daily so theres more weight on it all tha time basically but it shouldnt make that big of a diff

Umm, you adjusted the length of the shock? Don't you adjust the collar that the spring sits on? I don't think shocks affect ride height.

yeah i know that u are supposed to. but i already had all the rings off of the spring perch. but i will put one back on the left side and raise it up. as the left gets higher the right should get a little lower because of the weight transfer
