You need to feel the Pedders ones then. You can set it like you describe or just the opposite. The only time I've bounced around too much IMO was when I had them set to the softest setting they can go to, just to see what it felt like. I'm not set 15/30 and it seems to be a good balance between comfort and firmness. Grips and launches like a **** too I'm glad to report.

While people look at buying coiover kits I just wanted to show what happened after 7,500 miles on my rear JBP coilovers. Even it this kit is bought used, at a reduced cost, it it a poor choice/investment. Bilstein themselves said these rear coilovers are the wrong shock for our cars.

I love Bilstein shocks that are properly tuned for the application, but it's not the right application on our cars. Look near the top mount. It was obviously rubbing against the chassis for a while (the rusty spot).

I think it's a shame that there aren't better midrange coilovers for this car, and no one provides data for their coilovers. I asked Pedders for some data, and they told me their shocks were linearly valved, but no dyno, or spring rate data.

The Pedders coilovers I got have only the shock on the back and a separate spring to replace the stock one on that perch. It didn't come as a true coilover for the back.

Before I installed them I was going to have Powell put them on the dyno for everybody to get information on them (He was wondering too). He was possibly also going to re-valve them. When I got them and the time came, he found he was too busy though and turned it down, so I slapped them on.

To anyone that has the K sport Kontrol Pro's, any recommendation on setting them up. Doing daily, auto x, and some track days.

People on here that are doing some form of grip racing, What kind of Front Caster, Camber, and Toe are you running.

Any idea's would be awsome.

I'm currently running the alignment listed in my VBGarage. Got 1.00g in a turn a few days ago!

Not sure on the stock camber. I've been getting pretty good results with what I've got so far, but I can change it very easily if I find I'm needing more. Pillow ***** ftw!

I'll post up if I use more and have better results.

No. So u know where the market is.

Hmmm. I just cant see this whole deal....put on TC struts and shocks, pay 1.98 and have a great handling car for street and track.

I mean anyone here heading for NASA/SCCA/Grand Am with their car? I didnt think so....
Actually, yes I so run scca and midwest council events. I haven't heard anyone mention the Kw or b&g coilover systems here. Anyone have any experience with these?

^x2!

Pedders Xa Extremes FTW!

NT05s going on soon, so I'm excited about taking it up a level. I think I've reached the limit of the all-seasons I've got on there now.

Special thanks to Powell Motorsports and Ontario Cobalt Club for the quick and painless install. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

AFAIK H&R doesnt make a coilover kit for the cobalt. They just have the sport and race springs.

I would think so being that low.

HSD I believe John Powell sells them. They are the same company that makes stance coilovers
