Coilovers
What I can say is that on my first SS i had konis and sportlines, maybe they weren't set up the right way, but when I then switched to BC coilovers, I felt an improvement that I didn't think I could get
The BC coilovers are claimed to lower the car from 1 to 3 inches.
I think BC is the best for the money. I just got the Pedders for my other SS, but still in the process of installing them, so can't make a comparison yet.
But if you have a 2.2 and you don't race it, it is really useless to get such a expensive thing, springs will do a great job in my opinion, but then of course it is up to you. If you are planning things for the future such as turbo or things like that, then get the good stuff, otherwise sportlines would be the best bet I think, as far as drop and handling.
Also, I don't know if it is worth it saying it, but on ebay you find lots of brand new coilovers for our car, that are in the 800s.

d2 coilovers are junk and ksports are even more junk. people have had the shock bodies break.....if all your concerned about is drop by the stances.....they will get you the lowest. kw variant 2 if you want handling with drop.
you need to realize you cant be ultra low and still have good handling. your going to run into problems like bump steer, axle bind, etc etc.
pedders and fe5 struts if you dont mind the ride height being a little high in the back, kws if you are worried about getting low...keep in mind too you might also be rubbing the tires getting low. i had the stock size and i rubbed and i was about 1/2" from the bottom on the stances(about the same front drop with h and r springs) and about an inch from the lowest in the back...all around i had the same ride height as my h&rs and i still rubbed.
yea that makes sense i mean i dont really want to be low ALL the time i just want it for specific times so i can look cool and then when im daily driving i want to be atleast 1-2 inches off my wheel you know thats basically why im going for coilovers so if i can get performance and looks thats definatly a plus
how do you like the stance coilovers?
...also why im getting the r1 concepts with the r1 logo on them ha !

Well, I can PM you the receipt from TTR for my pedders with camber plates. Btw, if you call them, that's the price they will give you. PM Aaron and you'll see if you get them for less than 1400
