control arm bushings or something else
I have a creaking noise going over bumps while driving if the road is not smooth. Cab? Or something else. 09 lnf 55k on stock suspension. Thanks in advance

Go over somewhat bumpy railroad tracks slowly with your windows down. If it clunks or bangs going slowly over tracks its for sure CAB's. If not it could be your endlinks, do what kzak said its actually what i did to isolate mine. (get the moog ones in that case with the grease fittings) those are what i would start with.

Had some bangs and squeeks a couple seasons ago.
Changed the Tie-Rods, and it felt and sounded better.
I still get a little clunking over bigger bumps and train tracks.
I've had COB's for almost 2 years now just waiting for my OEMS to crap out before replacing them.
I'd start with the Tie-Rods, and go from there.

So I've had front end clunks for a while. Tonight I just replaced most of my suspension. Brand new control arms with Powell's CABs, brand new struts and springs, brand new sway bar end links, and still have clunking! Only thing left is tie rods. After that, possibly the front sway bar and or sway bar bushings.

i replaced my lower control arms and it helped the noise a little on my car, but I have the same issue, when its cold its worse, but I also have 210k miles on my car and that's all I have changed in the front end. Think I need to change some stuff now, getting nice out and I want my car to last
