I heard they were the same but with upgraded bushings and maybe new lighter metal? Are they both called FE5 parts? but the p/n between 05-07 and 08-10 are different?

i am guessing the leading bushing has changed in durometer; as far as I can determine the trailing bushing did not change; the arm did not change, neither the ball joint. the question was will 09 fit 06 the answer was yes. Part number differences could be nothing more than a change up, or what i have said a change in durometer of the bushing.

I have an 06 LTZ with the FE1 suspension, currently rocking ss/sc FE5 springs. Would the SS/TC FE5 control arms/CAB's make any appreciable difference in my handling? Are they worth it?

Just get the bushings from OTTP instead of getting new control arms. unless you get a crazy deal on the TC ones...

OTTP cabs for sure, make a difference and are worth it, and you need the arms they wont fit the steel arms. so yes.

For like $300 off CED.. are the ss/tc control arms worth it? Could I do a better suspension mod with that cash? I already have ss/sc springs and dc sports strut bar.

what do you want to do with the car? if its just a DD then I wouldnt, but if you plan on racing, autox etc. yes. Also depends on how much money you have to drop on your car.

That strut bar is worthless, sell that and get a rear sway bar from ottp.

Strictly daily driver. No 'racing' outside of the quarter mile.

Then why are you modding the suspension anyways, springs and struts are all you need for drag.
