Control arms...cabs...questoins

well i'm trying like hell to figure out what is causing this viberation i'm having between 35 and 43 mph....i've had 3 sets of wheels all balanced...alignments have checked out fine...wheel bearings are fine...i was gonna replace my axles thinking it was the axles hubs but what are the chances a bad control arm or cabs are causing this....

anyone running the intense cabs....?

i've seen axles cause vibrations. control arm bushings , sure. get the front end up off the ground and shake the wheel.

Does the wheel move left to right?

Do you have the little metal retainers on the rotors and have aftermarket wheels?

Is your car auto or stick? Is it solely speed related or do you have to be in a certain gear at that speed?

ok so its not wheels, if the wheel move at all when its off the ground side to side, up and down, diagonal, front to back, somethings wrong. you would be able to feel movement in the wheel if the control arm bushing was shot.
is vibration felt more in the seat or in the steering wheel?
are you lowered?

Also if the wheel "jiggled" side to side and up and down then it could be wheel bearing.

off topic: What are those little metal retainers on the rotors? When I did my brakes I wasn't sure what they were but I reused them just to be safe.

Just to hold the rotor on there during caliper mounting(in the factory)

You can break them off and toss em

take cross bolt out and lift knuckle drop arm. It is not a taper fit it should be easy. Insert a lever in the split of the knuckle if it is very tight. To replace re insert the ball joint to knuckle and torque cross bolt to 37 ft lbs, then back off 3/4 turn then re-torque to 37 ft lbas + 30 degrees.
