CV Boot

Well my CV boot ripped and is flinging grease everywhere. Got the new inner boot from a local store. Was wondering what the best to get the axle away from the knuckle is? Should I be taking the lower ball joint off or take out the 2 bolts from the strut to the knuckle. I am trying to avoid having to do an alignment. Not sure if those are adjustable and affect camber...

Taking the strut to knuckle bolts will be the easiest. There isn't a lot of camber adjustment with those bolts (unless you have added camber bolts). Going from memory you can mark the knuckle where it lines up so when you re-install you can get it back to the same position.
