anyone who owns a set of d2 coilovers please tell me what you think about them. i'm looking into purchasing a set with in the next week for my 06 ss but im not a huge suspension guru. any opinions on other coilovers is also greatly appreciated.im not a huge track guy but i do attend events every so often and im looking for a decent ride and really good looking stance. pics would also be greatly appreciated!

I have the D2 Coilovers, I like them to be honest, if you like to change the stiffness in the rear often then you will have to completely remove the coilover to do it. However, I haven't had any issues thus far.

897 shipped. but im also considering the stance Grs' or the BC Racing coilovers. i can't find any comparisons or reviews comparing one another.

Its possible but I dont see why he would pop into the thread and post that if they were for something different. For that price D2 seems like it would make more sense than BC or Stance too.

 

i agree,but ive also seen on the forum that d2's are garbage compared to the other. if it means that i spend a couple hundred more for better quality,than so be it. i would love to see pics of a car dropped on d2's but i have had no luck with the search...

 

All cars dropped on coilovers look the same since the user can adjust how high or low they can go. If you just want to get low than D2, Ksport, Megan Racing will be fine. If you only see one track day a year or frequent auto-x I would still go with Megan Racing. If your more serious about track get Pedders springs with TC struts. Its wont get you low but it will handle the best.

Their probably all made in Asia so they are all made for a couple bucks and sold under different brand names.
