DC-2 Strut brace question

I am looking to get the DC-2 strut brace for my 07 Cobalt, but I have only seen pics of the single rod style braces installed in a Cobalt so far.

I want to make sure the clearances are fine for all that tupperware, and the DC-2 angles forward which is my concern for clearance.

Also, for the ones who have this brace, did you have to modify anything to get it to fit?

Thanks all!

the PRODUCT DOES VARY. beware of this. several people purchased this bar thinking it would be the one pictured above...but it wasn't. one single tube.

Thanks for the clarification, I thought the dual bar one commanded a higher price from what I have been seeing when all this time it is the single bar.

Any mods to the car needed to get this to fit the Cobalt?

nope, just a bolt on. you remove two bolts from the top of the struts on each side. slide in the bar, and bolt it back down. it's a bit of a tight squeeze but the bar will fit in there snuggly.

when you put it in, it will be a tight fit. if you lift the plastic liner by the rear of the engine bay, you can loosen a bolt that will make life much easier and give you way more clearance
