hey ive just talked to my buddy at megan racing he said he in interested in the production of some coil overs for the ion redlines........first i need some info on the ions......before anything.....
1st. are the springs of the redline the same as the cobalt....


2nd. what is the difference between the cobalt and the redline on the struts .besides the fact that the ions only have the one big bolt on the strut tower instead of the 3 small nuts....


3rd. do the 4 door ions have the same strut tower as the 2 door ions.....the one big bolt.


4th. who make coil overs 4 the ions.....if any.....


5th. i would need someone to donate a full front strut and rear shock and spring..to be able to create the coil overs.....and we would need to keep them for about 3 to maby 4 months....in return he well give u the production coil over really cheap...



if u ask me its a hell of a deal.....

Noone is going to have these spare unless they already have coilovers. I have my stock springs laying around, but not the struts, those are on the car.

 

I believe he wants ions anyway. Were cobalts

there is ions on this forums......duh..............i was just trying to do someone in the community a favor .....but what ever....

 

I think what he was getting at is you might get a better responce on a REDLINE forum seeing how you want REDLINE specific parts.

Just a thought and he's probly right.
