Dropped 2.2l problems!

i dropped it on hr springs. it settles 2.5 inches all the way around and im hearing a popping sound when i turn the wheel left or right. it only happens sometimes and at low speeds. at first i thought it was axle bind so i emailed john powell on getting some motor and trans mounts. i read his rotated ones will fix axle bind? but he emailed me back saying if it a "popping" sound he thinks (it legit sounds like a pop) then its bushings. and that his alloy control arms and spherical cabs would fix it. he said they would be more durable than stock and laswt as long as i had the car. he also said theyd be complete in package. my question is if they are complete would it just be as simple as bolting new arms and thats it? and does anyone have an opinion as to whaT THEY think the popping sound it since i know almsot everyone is lowered here and what will fix it.

If they're just bushings they may need pressed in unless you bought a complete arm with them already in. So it'd basically just bolt right in

if it's more of a clunk sound i'd first replace your endlinks with Moogs if you haven't already

Still have the stock endlinks? (Rod that connects to the strut and the front sway bar)

Mine used to do that too! I just never bothered with it since its so specific. Probably just a worn axle. I wouldn't replace anything until it becomes a more serious problem!

my buddy is a mechanic told me it was the spring moving when i turn the wheel. it wasnt humming so no ball bearing and no play in wheel so not hub. he said i have worn out upper strut bearing. it happens on these cars as well as cab he said. so im replacing the upper strut bearing wiht kyp plates. and eventually powell contorl arms and spherical cabs mabe next summer
