Dropped with 235's?

Has anyone lowered their car with 235's up front? I want to lower my car but am afraid that it will definitely cause problems with that wide of a tire.

Isn't cruisin running 235's on his stock G5 GT wheels? And he's lowered on BC coilovers.

235's are too wide for the stock wheels. I have 235's on 8" wide wheels and they are almost wider than I would like. You are going to sacrifice cornering performance with 235's on a 7" wheel.

This is simply not true. At least, not that I can tell, and I drive quite 'spirited'...

245/40/18s here on 8" rim w/ 1/4" gap all the around on BC SPORT COILOVERS.

It only rubs when u-turning around on very, I mean very un-even, un-paved roads.

I agree... The tires don't bulge whatsoever. I have't noticed any adverse effects at all.

yea well sometimes i do... so I would like to prevent the rubbing if possible... only other thing I could do is wait till my konis are broken in and then turn the struts up in the rear

I don't have them anymore, and the only pics I had were on my old computer and are now gone, so sorry I can't.

They did look great though, nice and beefy without looking too big. I always got compliments on the tires when I had those
