e-brake question

anybodt know if there is an adjustment for the ebrake...i put on new pads and rotors but now in order for my ebrake to engage i have to pull it all the way up....and the lil metal clip that holds the cables under the center console came off one day. I put the metal clip back on, but it's still like the ebrake needs alot more adjustment. Someone fill me in please.

Pull off the cover for the e-brake and you will see a long threaded bolt and a nut, tighten that. I would pull the back cup holder out and you will see the 2 into 1 plate, make sure both cables are in the plate. When I pulled my rear calipers they both came out. Double check that they clips didn't come out of the caliper too.

So tightening that would make the E-break harder yes?
