Aaron youre saying they are 29mm front and 25mm rear??? So they are a different size than Eibach had been sayin.....they "were" gonna be 27mm/22mm.....

29mm is a freaking monster. thats 5mm larger than the FE5. Over 110% stiffer!!! I think i wanna try one of these just to see if the front suspension even still works
29 MM is what eibach is publishing on their website now for the front...

IMO honestly and talking to some insiders at Eibach, the front bar will improve the body roll, but may have a large side effect of traction (being a lack of in the corners, with the weight distribution change with the larger bar). This insider did suggest using the rear (25MM) bar only... Again this is not just coming from us, but a "little bird" Your thoughts Maven? You do have a lot of knowledge in this area, that is why we ask

As I alluded to in my above post , I think that 29mm is too big, its a MASSIVE change in stiffness and will effectively more than double the perceived front spring rates in a turn.

I am sure that a car with this bar would be super flat, and it would probably have exceptional turn-in and left/right transition feel. It would obviosly have as close to zero camber gain as youre likely to get on a street Balt(outside tire being forced to lean out on turns), something that is a huge detriment to handling/road holding of the mcstrut based front suspension we have. And with a 1" it rear bar, it probably would be "relatively" neutral, itsnot likely the car would be very loose(or tight) in normal driving.

The problem as I see it multi-faceted.
People who buy these bars arent going to want to drive their car normally.(obviously, they are buying sway bars)

The "feel" that these bars give will surely inspire unfounded confidence in the handling of their car(I can ssee bad things happening on slippery roads or to guys with little tires)

After spending $300 plus and installing these bars(the front will surely be a joy as the stock FE5 barely fits in and out.) people are going to be very shocked to find out that even though the car is chassis plate level all the time, and "feels" super awesome that it now pushes(understeers) as much or maybe more than before, and on top of it they are gona be smoking the death out of their front tires......

So yeah, I would definitiely agree with you and your birdy that traction is gonna be severly affected on cars that run this setup, unless youre rocking nice wide super sticky tires youre gonna be just going through the turns with that inside front tires screaming for mercy and billowing smoke like the Great Chicago Fire......(all the while the car now pushing since only one tire has ANY traction at all)

Forgetting about the smoking tire of death for a minute, to take advantage of the front camber youll be able to maintain and to get the thing to actually turn(with your front tires crying) youd need to add so much rear toe out you wouldnt be able to drive it on the street, OH WAIT.....we dont have adjustable rear toe....hmmm. Now youre pretty much screwed.

I think they shouldve come out with a 1" front bar....I wouldve been all over that like white on rice on a paper plate in a snow storm.

Looking at the picture the Eibach rear bar might actually be a little softer(more than the .4mm difference would suggest) than the TTR unit.

The TTR bar is solid 1" stock straight through, where it attaches to the mount plate(the effective end of its arm length) its a full 1", the Eibach bar necks down from 25mm and flattens into the mountng plate, meaning is no where neare 25mm thick at the effective end of its arm, this could reduce its actual stiffness quite a bit as compared to a solid round stock bar. Of course this just makes the front bar an even bigger problem

I might have to waste my birthday money on the rear bar Or maybe Ill just stick with the plan and get my custom bar.....decisions, decisions.

Too big, 100% 29mm give me a break. The Grand am Koni cars in year 1 ran with no front swaybar. in year 2 eventually they ran with the stock 24.5 front. The rear already had a weld in integral chrome moly hollow 2 inch bar or something like that i dont feel like looking it up...

Here is what will happen. The front bar will keep the rear wheels on the ground. The car will push. A lot. ON the street it will self steer like awful. The front bar will cause the struts to steer as they go up and down. This is not nice. Aaron Epic Fail...

Why do you say "Aaron Epic Fail" We did not make this bar, Eibach did. We are stating the same thing you did on this about the front bar... So you are agreeing with us, or we agree with you, same thing...

I really like how CA is all " oh yeah, by the way these came out two weeks ago....."

Its not like this has been one of the most anticipated aftermarket parts for the Balt o anything..... Its too bad its an EPIC failure.

Didn't know it was such an anticipated part...sorry for the delay of posting up about it. Figured others would have been on top of it before us . I was just surprised to see the post and was surprised when it showed up out of nowhere when we had placed the orders for it over 2 years ago. Sorry i didn't get a chance to let the community know sooner. We had other items we were focusing on releasing and some holiday sales going on that were taking alot of our time.
I do apologize in the delay on letting the community know .
