So wait. What do you have now? The stock set up or the FE3? The LT came with the FE1 suspension, not the FE3. The FE3 was only available on the 2.4 Cobalts and the ION Redline.

The FE5 will drop the car a good bit (I think either an inch or an inch and a half) from the stock FE1, it's a less noticeable drop between FE3 and FE5.

There've been several people who've done it, everything should mount up the same. The only thing off the top of my head that I can think of is you'll probably need new endlinks for the front sway bar, as the FE5 mounting point is lower than the FE1 mounting point. If you do need that, don't buy stock, get the Moog endlinks.

No problem. If you want to go lower than stock SS/TC ride height, you can put lowering springs on the FE5 struts as well. It all depends on what you want.

I upgraded just from the SS/SC suspension to the SS/TC suspension and it was a huge difference, you'll be very happy with the difference from the base suspension.
