Eibach Pro kit w/ stock struts/springs

Eibachs website states that you can retain your stock shocks/struts but I wanted to make sure that this will be safe before I get them installed. I have an 06 ss/sc with 80k miles

Thanks

There's no reason why you can't retain the stock struts/shocks, but it would be a good idea to upgrade them at the same time you're doing the springs.

I have the eibach prokit on my ss/na/sport shocks/sturts. Been around there about 30k now and still going strong despite a lot of backroading and harduse. So id say your fine. though your at 80k so replacing the shocks/struts with 08-10 SS LNF assemblies would also be a good idea if your shocks/struts are the from the factory ones.

Yeah they are the factory ones. I don't want to put the lnf suspension on unless it is completely necessary. If the stock suspension will work ill just stick with that. Thanks for the input.

I just did springs and retained the original shocks/struts and everything is A-OK. 38K miles on 'er. Even though, since you're at 80K, you might wanna think about replacing your shocks/struts soon. 100K is the recommended replacement point.

I have a set on stock struts/shocks and they work like a champ. Nice handling, nice ride (a bit stiffer over the bumps), reasonable ride heighth...

I have Ground Control coilover kits, Eibach springs, Koni adjustables front and rear, and camber plates for autocrossing, I re-install my Pro-Kits each winter.
