FE5 shocks

Anyone ever buy the fe5 shocks from the dealer? It's a special order product and its been 6 business days. I know it takes longer then other parts but damn.

Just wanted to see if anyone else as had to wait this long?

I haven't paid for them yet, I got a buddy that works at the dealership and he ordered it for me and when they come in, I'll pay for them. I forgot how much it was but it was cheaper then CED and gmpartsdirect.

If they ever come in, Ill let you know how much it was.

Just let me know. The struts & shocks were gonna be about 280 with tax Matter of fact, Im gonna call to get an update. I can let you know about the front sway, but why would you want it? Your car will handle corners better with just the sway bar esp. TTR's bar.

I just called them, I wont get an ETA because they're on backorder. So pretty much when they show up, the guy will call me. He did tell me that if I had a VIN # of a SS/SC a high priority will be put on it.

If anyone is willing to PM me theyre VIN of there SC, I'd appreciate it, otherwise I'll just have to wait.

Not sure what you mean. The front FE5 sway bar is the best thats out there for our cars right now, at least for the price. I already bought the REAR TTR sway bar. And a DC sports strut bar. BUT the front FE5 sway is 24mm, and would be a good upgrade for my LS. I also just got eibach sportlines

ahh, yea that makes sense. I called my local BIG chevy dealership, and the rear shocks were $89 a piece!!! the front struts were more than $150 a piece!! I thought the guy was a comedian. I told him about CED and that they were a lot cheaper on there, he wrote down the name because he wanted to see for himself.

Did you happen to find out how much the FE5 front sway would be?? With all the hardware needed?

thanks

Dealer cost on the SS/SC FE5 struts and shocks is $232.12 $280 is a good price.

I dont know what you ordered, but none of the SS/SC shocks/struts are on backorder as of right now. They are fully stocked in multiple warehaouses on the struts and the shocks are in full stock at Willow Run, MI

The SS/SC sway bar is about $40 online plus shipping, if you walk into ANY dealer it should only be $59. The only hardware you need is the 2005 FE5 sway bar insulators PN:22700091 They are like $16-17 ea. online or under $50 for the pair in any dealer. Thats all you need

Man it sure would be nice if someone had posted all of this information before
