FE5 struts on lowered LT?

Looking to lower the cobalt finally with sportlines and wondering if FE5 shocks/struts would really make that much of a difference? I know Konis would be ideal, but not for my bank account. Just wondering if it's worth the extra $300-400 for the FE5 stuff. I'm not really doing any hard driving, just more for looks on my daily driver.

im in the same boat. would getting the FE5 struts/shocks along with a good set of springs be a good set up? would i need to replace nething else or would those 3 parts be all i need?

i ask, because the ride quality in my car seems to be getting worse and worse, and its getting harder and harder to tolerate. i literally feel everysingle bump...even some of the cracks in the road. haha

the fe5 shocks/struts should help stiffen the ride up compared to our stock struts/shock meaning less bounce, i plan on doing the same setup fe5 struts/shocks

when you say "stiffen" do you mean it will be smoother? cuz im really looking to make it more of a smoother ride than a sporty one. (if that makes sense)
