FE5 Struts + Pedders

Getting the FE5 Struts and Shocks + Pedders from CED. Car has 92k on it running on stock struts and springs. I am thinking that I should go ahead and replace my upper strut mount as well with that many miles on it. Question is 1. is there anything else I should be looking at replacing while doing this and 2. anyone ever used Moog K160052 Front Strut Mount | eBay those strut mounts? Is there much of a difference between these and the ones on CED for $78?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks,

Matt

With that many miles, you'll probably need new end links. I also did FE5 shocks and struts w/ Pedders when I had similar miles. I had to torch off the old end links, and I replaced them with the Moog links.

Okay so if I got FE5 Struts, Shocks, pedders, moog strut mounts and new moog front endlinks, that pretty much covers everything, or am I missing something?

Should be most everything you need. While you're working on it though, might as well change the tie rod ends too. At about 83k miles my tie rod ends and end links were both pretty well shot

So when looking at the endlinks and tie rod ends and stuff like that should I be looking at ones that fit an '06 LE5 or ones that fit the FE5 struts?

Thanks for the input!

End links you will want the ones that go with the fe5 struts. Tie rod ends you will want the ones that fit your LE5 because they attach to the spindle not the strut
