Front end knock (and solution)

So I was having this odd front end knock at slow speeds when turning left. Especially when car was cold. Two dealerships couldn't figure it out. One finally said they'd change the right front axle. While waiting for delivery, I visited Powell Raceshop and had John install CAB's and rotated trans mounts. On removal, saw cab's we're torn, but typical on our cars.

Guess what, it was the cause of the knock. Whoo hoo!!! And GM still installed the new axle. So I'm pleased. Oh, no more wheel hop! John proved it by doing a burnout in front of me, and I have since repeated the fun!

OTTP components FTW.
Thanks John!

Sorry for late reply, but basically yup, that's what I did Stiner!!!

I was on vacation and up in TO anyways, so not too bad lol.

PS, the mounts are great!, combined with rear bar and CAB's you got a decent riding car. I'm contemplating the steering rack spacers now...

Haven't experienced too much bump steer, so have been debating the spacers. John never even mentioned them when I was at the shop.

I'm still debating on TC struts... I may run the Pedders next year though and go from there. Love my handling too but still missing a little something when I'm full out at Shannonville. Although at Calabogie, I had no issues!
