I have been having problems with a noise in my front end that sounds like a hammer hitting the sub frame for a while now. I have a 07 ls sedan which I have put an fe5 sc front sway bar in with moog fe5 end links. I have been replacing control arm bushings, strut mounts, and end links in search of this noise.

I finally found what the problem was and it was the one bolt sway bar mounts. The mounts use a metal tab that inserts into the sub frame and when I took them out I could see shiny spots on them where they where rubbing. I rapped the metal tab with electrical tape reinstalled it and walla the noise is gone so this might be worth looking at if you are having front end noise.
