front rotor problem?
front rotor problem?
Anyways I have 2009 Pontiac g5 gt and I think I have the wrong size rotors on the front. Everywhere I check says they should be 296mm which is 11.653" but the rotors that I have on is more like 10.750". I found this out after I bought new rotors and the bracket that the caliper bolts on to will not fit over the rotor. I do have rear disc brakes so they should unless I'm not seeing something. Any help would be grateful
wrong rotors no doubt. good luck, you have the correct measurements, go from there. Tip: you will probably find your rotors are 28mm thick not 26mm, The GT uses the same rotors as the LSJ 05-07 supercharged Cobalt, or some Malibu around 2004.
It is possible that base rotors and calipers and brackets are on your car or it'd possible it's not a GT Does it have disc or drum rear brakes?
i can only assume you now have base lt/ls rotors calipers and brackets...try the base rotors they are small in diameter check out ex soccers posts on his reverse engineered small brake drag set up which uses the smaller rotors
