I dont think there is an upgraded "larger" one other than the SS/SC, any aftermarket ones right now are the same size.

so is that like saying that there is no real reason to upgrade the front sway bar then?

I have the suspension techniques front sway. It is an upgrade for all models except the SS/SC.

It is not yet installed because I just dont have the capability of doing it at this time. I only got it because someone was selling front and rear together for the price of just a rear.

All of the aftermarket stuff is for the base models

Not sure if a bigger bar is even needed.

Dude, I had a Adco Larger swaybar kit on the front of my toyota 4runner and loved it, but I see no need on the SS/SC because I dont think you can buy a larger diameter bar for the front of theses things as of yet! Plus I think that the car is already got about as big as you need!

It could use improvement, I am not sure why no one has yet, we plan on it, but we have a few items in line before that...

Exactly, if you have a base model, it would be an upgrade, just nothing for the SS/SC

yeah, every front sway bar out there is 22mm just like the stock SS/SC. there are a couple for the rear, and the balt doesn't come with one at all. you'd probably be better off adding a rear sway bar.

Yes that is why we manufacture a rear bar (largest out there, 1.0" diamter) and all the members on the forums (auto X's) love it.

Personally I have found the FE5 front bar (24mm) is too big for the progress 22mm rear add on bar, the over/under steer balance just isnt there. I was going to get the TTR 25.4mm rear bar but have sence made other modifications that seem to have corrected the balance issue. If you have an FE1 suspension I'd suggest either the FE3 (22mm) front swaybar with the progress 22mm add on bar or go for the FE5 front bar and the TTR rear bar.

^^ ummm... im pretty sure the SS/SC has a 22mm front sway bar, not trying to bash you, but 24mm is huge.

nope its 24mm, I measured it. The FE1 is 18mm, the FE3 is 22mm, and the FE5 is 24mm. Actually those numbers should be somewhere else on the site. I do believe there is a sticky listing the various differences between the factory suspensions.

wow really? i take it back then, so really, there are no aftermarket front sway bars that even match the SS/SC's? that kinda sucks. well, hey at least now i won't spread any more misinformation, haha

Are you looking for a general handling upgrade?

What do you have done?

not a lot, progress rear bar, progress springs, w rated tires, front stress bar.

the real thing is, i'm dropping the subframe to get the slave cylinder out, so.... if i have it out, and there is a upgrade for reasonable cash, i might as well.

That makes a lot of sense.

But I have driven both the SS/SC and my SS/NA when they were both bone stock and really couldn't tell MUCH of a difference in suspension.

Tires, yes, suspension no...but why not go with the FE5 one.

well, had i known that was an option, i would have. i just assumed that there would be like 12 aftermarket models i could get for reasonable cash.

I believe eibach makes a FRONT for our cars.

They don't make a back one though(which you already have)

I recently installed the ttr 1" rear bar. and I find the rear to stay level in the corners but the front is still having issues with leaning... a bigger bar is nessary to stop this. for the weight of the car I would say something in the 1 1/4" size
