Front Sway vs Rear Sway (ratio/balancing)

So, with all the sway bar sets (Front and Rear), the front sway is always larger than the rear sway bar. Suspension Techniques offers 22mm front, 19mm rear. Eibachs is 27mm front and 25mm rear. So the question is, if i got just the rear progress bar for my 07 LS, the front sway would be smaller than the rear since its stock. Will that throw my balance off since all the suspension companies seem to maintain a bigger front to smaller rear ratio?? Any suggestions and experience with only rear or full sway kits would really help. Thanks in advance

In short, the answer to your question is no. Being that our cars are fwd, they are already very heavily understeer biased from the factory, especially ours, the LS's that dont even have rear bars. I can tell you, as can many other people, that installing the progress rear bar was one of the best things I ve done to my car so far.

Where did you get the specs for the Eibach kit? They haven't been published yet and when I call Eibach to ask, they don't even know.

on a fwd car u'd typicaly want a larger rear bar to be able to take turns better, it will feel more stable.

Hey Halfcent, Here is a link that gives the info. Dont know how accurate it is though if its not even out yet. Many sites have the eibach kit for sale though.

Thanks for the replys. So i guess i should be fine just doind a rear sway in terms of balance/under oversteer. I was just wondering why all the kits with both front and rear, always have a larger front than rear.

Sites may be selling them, but they are not delivering them. They haven't even been manufactured yet.
