Getting drums turned...

So awhile back i put new rims on my car, and then the brakes started to pulsate afterward so i thought the rotors were warped. I bought new EBC rotors with Hawk HPS pads and had them installed and the problem was still there. So i had everything else checked, wheels rebalanced, rotors double checked to see if they were warped, etc. So now I'm leaning towards the fact that it is the drums. When I pull up on the e-brake i feel a slight... and i mean slight pulsation. but the thing is that when i hit the brake pedal, i don't feel anything pulsate in the steering wheel. I know that if the steering wheel pulsates that is a sign of warped rotors. What i get is a pulsation in the pedal itself, and in my seat really bad. So what is everyone else's take on this?

that's the thing though, i've had my rotors checked for runout and everything. they are not warped at all and like i said, no steering wheel pulsations, only the pedal and the seat. so my problem isn't the rotors this time, it's the damn drums i'm thinking. i guess i'll see after i do this.

Only needs .001 inch thickness variation to pulsate. As a GM tech myself, I've dealt with pulsations often before. If the rotors are getting replaced, best thing to do is shim them so they have no LRO. Drums don't generally pulsate unless they are extremely overheated. May want to have alignment checked as well as wheel balance to repair the pulsation.

...are your wheels balanced? seems to me like that would be the issue since this occurred after rim installation.
