Good struts/springs or coil-overs..??

Hey guys,

So, one thing I wanted to do here real soon was drop the car. I was gonna do springs first, then the struts later on. But I was wondering if I should just hold off and get one of the cheaper coil-over sets. I don't need some high-end race package, but still something that works and won't blow out in a month. I've noticed several sets now for right about 1,000 or less. That's what I'd go for. I use the car everyday, so they need to be solid and reliable for PA pot-holes.. lol. I'd still like them to be firm like the stock set-up, but a bit lower too.

Suggestions? Thanks!

Yep. You don't have a real need for coilovers, Maven's suggestion is spot on.

Cut bumpstops are (imo) the main reason struts/shocks blow out with lowering srpings.

I just installed my springs...full bumpstops, I did Steddy's Sportlines...full bumpstops, Recklessactn's sportlines...full bumpstop.

Hmm.. Dunno.. lol

But yes, I'll just toss the springs on and leave the stops alone and we'll see how it goes.. Sounds like a plan!
