Handlin Mods

So whats the best thing you can get for handling? I know the strut bars like the DC dont help as much as the rear ones. Im not sure which to get.

I have been readin up a lot about them. I know the DC strut bar is easy to install yourself, but what about the other bars?

Is the DC strut bar the best you can get or is there better? I dont care about price too much because i want the best.

Thanks for all the help...

So i just read that the sway bars are what im lookin for. Is their only one and can i install it myself?

Ur best bet, besides springing for the DC sports strut tower brace is the progress rear sway bar, there was actually a group buy that just finished up on this and a good 25 guys ended up getting this rear sway, now with your setup in the SS/SC, this is prolly the only thing that will be super noticeable with your current setup, the only other thing to compliment this rear sway would be for you to drop it on sportlines or something like that to lower the center of gravity which will help, may advice to you is that if your looking for a noticeable gain, go with the progress rear bar, many vendors on here carry them and i suggest going through turbo tech racing, they do great work, and as far as installation, i didnt even jack up my balt to put it on, shouldnt take more than an hour and it is a great addition, hope this helps some

I agree with danklite. The progress rear sway bar is your best bet. You will notice more improvement with rear bar over the DC Strut bar. I actually have both and the progress rear bar helped about 10x more than the strut bar. Also like danklite said get some new spring to lower the car for the same reason he stated.

I always thought that lowering was the best mod for handling and that the sway and strut brace would further re-inforce those as opposed to the other way around?

Either way though, you have your answer and I think you know what you need to do!

i have all three (ssc springs though), i installed the strut bar first and it helped a lil bit but nothing major at all... next were the springs, i love them, they lower it just right, and reduce the body roll tremendously... last was the rear sway bar and if i would have know what a dramatic difference it was it would have been first... it made the car feel much tighter and honestly a lil more fun to drive... hope this helps you out a lil bit.
