Haven't logged on in a while...,

Hey guys haven't been on in a while, been workin like crazy to save up for a new house and such.

Anyways, I have couple of questions for the suspension/steering gurus out there.

Just recently my car has been making an odd noise coming from the front hub area, similar to tire roar but only on the drivers side front tire. So I decided to jack the car up and check the bearing. Put it up on jack stands and rocked the wheel on the x and y axis and it had absolutely no movement. I thought I would just replace the bearing and be good to go, so now I'm not sure what it is.

It only happens around 35-45 mph and seems to worsen if I make a quick/jarring left hand turn. Any possible idea on what it could be? Tie rod ends? Ball joit? Need a new sway bar link kit? And if so, is it ok to upgrade the FE5 stuff or what? Need help with it soon because I'm getting coils soon and I want to make sure the cars gonna be safe enough to drive all day everyday. If there's any other information you need just post up in this thread. Thanks in advance for te help!

Sounds like. Wheel bearing. They don't always have play in them when they go bad. How's the tread on that tire, could even be tire noise but more then likely the wheel bearing.

The tires are less than a week old. I thought it might be a bearing too, and they are simple to replace. I was just thinking it might be a couple different things. Is it safe to drive on a damaged bearing or am I miles from death? lol. I just don't want to lower the car any more until I know the car is good to go. hah

Well looks like it was just tire noise. Put the car up on the racks and used a stethoscope to listen to the chassis, no noise. lol Just another random noise to chalk up on the Cobalt board.
