Help with brakes

Hey guys So im changing my rear brakes and rotors for the first time (for both me and the car) and i have hit a snag. I am trying to put the caliper back onto the rotor with the new pads in (hawk HPS) and the caliper no longer fits. Anytone able to offer some advise on this? I read through the how to but it didnt seem to answer this question. Thanks

Turns out i thought i had it but did not. Loosened the bleeder screw and rotated the piston clockwise. The piston never seemed to move back in and no brake fluid ever came out the bleeder.

you need to push and turn the rear brakes because it has the integral ebrake. pain in the ass if you ask me :P there is a tool you can use but i forget the part number, it has been posted on here before.

Thanks for the reply i did manage to find the a brake piston tool but it did not fit (looked like a cube thingy) The trick i found was tap the back of a screw driver on the piston. Stick a pair of needlenose in and turn like with some pressure. This worked real well for me. So everything is on and i refilled the brake fluid only have a few miles on them and the brake pedal is a helluva lot squishier than it used to be. I have to put the pedal almost all the way for make a good stop. Not sure if this is normal on new rotors and pads or not.

You say you opened the bleader valve. Did you bleed the brakes after. If not you have alot of air and i would suggest not driving till you bleed your brakes

if u opened the bleeder you have air, bleed the brakes now!!! ur in a very shitty situation right now, bleed them asap and dont drive. could end up in an accident. any time you open the bleeder u MUST bleed the lines as ait gets in .
