Exclamation help quick

I cant seem to get this bolt out, I have the nut off.

and mine is a lot less pretty, rusty and corroded. is it threaded all the way through or not?

rubber hammer. or it should come out if you impact it out from the screw head.

the bolt head will not fit a socket, only 2 flat edges.

use a jack and lightly lift up the disc brake and take tension of of it

tried that, so its not threaded through the whole thing?

nope what i did was take the nut off flip the nut over screw it back on till it is flush with the bolt. then hammer away!!

This.

Put the nut back on it and hammer it out. The end of the bolt is actually tapered pretty good, you can hit it direct with a hammer if you are careful, but the safe bet is to just thread the nut back on a little.

I think I used a hammer + blunt chisel. Idk I remember hammering it out though.

use the hammer. i think you would be suprised on how much a hammer is actually used when working on cars. so dont be affraid of it. HIT IT LIKE YOUR MAD AT IT!

put the nut back on slightly so you dont damage the threads. then hammer. its ok its pressed in.

hammer it, but make sure you don't mushroom the end of the bolt otherwise you can't get the nut back on . so. x3 on the hammer.

thanks for the help guys, a lot of hammer time worked, although I hope my springs settle a little more. A little disappointed in the sportlines drop but it looks better

I felt the same way when I put my sportlines on (not sure what cobalt you have...) but after a week they settled quite a bit more. Still not slammed, but I think it's a good drop while staying practical
