how to disconnect e-brake cable from caliper?

I am trying to replace my calipers - front and rear. For the rear caliper - I noticed the rear e-brake cable is "clamped" to the caliper (e-brake cable has a metal sleeve that solidly sits in the clamp. How is it supposed to be disconnected? Do I just pry/muscle it out? I am talking about the caliper clamp that is just a couple inches from the end of the e-brake cable.

This is 2006 ss/sc.

I figured it out - there are a couple slots in the caliper clamp - and one has to push in one or both of the locking tabs integral to the e-brake cable fitting. With the tabs pushed in - I used a punch to gently knock the e-brake cable fitting out of the clamp. With that done - the cable is separate from the caliper.

Nice. I was curious as to how that would disconnect as well.
