Irotors brake kit
I was thinking of purchasing the irotors drilled and slotted rotors. They come also come with pads and brake lines. Anybody have any info about irotors?

Are they easily installed front and rear and things of that nature. I was looking at them and I need new brakes and I also wanted to upgrade from stock. Do you have any pics of the rear ones and do I need any speacial tools for the job? Like anything for the e-brake line? Or the how to?

yeah ive been looking at irotors for a while, theyve been around for a while. they were popular at one point on camaro's and vettes then they stopped becoming a sponsor so people stopped buying them. i've heard they use brembo blanks and drill and slot them. but not 100% sure. theyre good stuff none the less. ls1 cars have had them for 50+k miles with no cracking.

I have them front and back with Hawk HPS pads, this is the only pic I have now, but will take a few extra forn you this weekend....you need a rubber mallet to get the stock rotors off, and a clamp to compress the brake cylinder for the pads...overall happy with the product i would recommend them

I went ahead and bought the rotors pads and new brake lines from irotors. the only question left is what type of brake fulid to you purchase for your cobalt or did you just keep it the same. I heard that I should move to a different fulid but to be honest I really didn't know what to go with.
