Interesting sound, possibly strut hat bearing needs greased?

With the popping sound that loud and precise you should be able to feel it with your hand by grabbing parts.

Coils have 10-15 k roughly on them.. Not hard driving.. When it creeks you feel it through the whole underneath of the car. Not sure if I said this but when drivin low speeds 1st 2nd 3rd gear, if I'm driving and tap the brake it makes a single knock/pop.

That to me says it's a pivot point like the top hat, ball joint, or your cabs.

Could this be where the knuckle that comes off the steering rack to the knuckle that comes from the steering wheel? Checked that too didn't see it jumping or skipping anything.

Ball joint, thats another to check, but is put it up on jack.stands, and take a pry bar to every joint, ie lower control arm front and rear, tie rod ends, and look in and check.the ujoint on the stearing shaft, ball joint, strut tower top, and grab the cv axles and shake them, if nothing moves, get the grease gun out and hit every grease zerk you cab find, it could be just a joint ran out of grease

Powell I installed them and I know I installed them correctly. You feel it's the top strut ball joint? Where it swivels and the dampening adjustment sits on? When I turn the wheel I had a buddy put his hand on top of both of them he said there's no feeling of the knocking on them. You can really hear it under the car. Kinds goes through the whole floorboard... I will check everything again tomorrow .. How can I check if the coil over joint up top is bad?

So I got wobble comjng from the passanger side when doing a pull 2d through 4th.. And under braking on the highway ... Possible wheel bearing going out? If I don't figure it out over the weekend I'm bringing it somewhere cause it's driving me insane!

honestly after hearing the vid, it sounds like the coils are grinding around. i would take the out and put stock back in to see if the noise goes away. i noise like that would leave evidance of wheres its coming from.......

....? ha ive used 80ft lbs on my car for the last 3 years almost. every oil change i rotate my tires and use 80ft lbs. never ONCE had an issue. to give u an example, toyotas torque specs for the cars r 65ft lbs... and a camry weighs more than a cobalt... its gonna be suspension.

I had a friend put his hand on both strut tops while I turn the wheel and theres no knock or pop feeling coming from them.. Which makes me want to eliminate the coils. I'm not sure of I have the stock ones still I think I sold them but if not I'll change it out and see.
