thats how theyre designed to be used so i guess yea if you wanna wait till you have to replace them and then cut you could. i just picked up a couple of front struts from a local junk yard off a wrecked balt for $80 and im gonna use those to install the koni's.

They're good. The first Koni struts I did were for a (then new) '75 Corolla SR-5. They worked the same way - cut off the top and gut the stockers, then insert the Konis. Like all Koni's I've had, they were excellent.

The rears work just like older Mustang rears. You have to adjust them by compressing them and turning the shaft.

i just got mine installed today and yes theyre very good, car is much more controlable near the limit, and easy to reign back in when too much rotation occurs.

What springs are you running?

Nice set-up. I need to replace my front struts, and am planning on the Konis all around. While we're in there might as well add the Eibach springs. They have 2 part numbers. One lowers it more than the other. For Denver (snow and pot holes) I will use the taller of the two kits.

Good luck with your set-up!
