Konis worth it??

Well I have my SS/SC on H&R Springs. I can't stand hitting a bump and feel like I'm drive a Honda with cut springs. Will the Konis improve handling that much? And how long will they last??

I cant speak from experience on that one. I am definitely getting them before I put my sportlines on though.

I would think the H & R's would be fine if you got koni's. Aftermarket struts are pretty much a given when lowering your car. At least the right way lol.

Alright, cause I read the reason the H and R rides bad is because it drops it so much..might be just an opinion though

How long have you had them on? Your stock struts might already be shot.

Is it just as rough now as when you had them put on? Or has the ride quality changed?

I just put konis on last weekend and i have h&r the ride is much smoother now and it takes corners nice and flat. The key is tuning them.

if you decide to get rid of your H&Rs sell them back to me

and konis will help DEFFINITLY. its the only way to go in my opinion. I thought stock was fine until i got my konis and i kicked myself in the **** for waiting so long

I know I'm in Canada, but I will have Koni's and Canuck Motorsport (SSC) Springs for sale within the next month...maybe cut a good deal for ya.

and they make a world of difference...People who lower their car without them and say their car rides fine, are obviously shooting up before they get in...lol

I cant wait to get me a set of koni this spring. I need them bad. I have lowered mine on CA#1 springs and thought stock was fine too until i raised it back up for the winter. That is when i noticed how worn out my stock suspension actually was. I will be saving money for the koni's and a beater for the winter. Its the only way to go IMO. Yea they are cartridges and require a little more work than a full replacement but its our only option right now. KYB makes a set of full replacements but they are not intended for lowered cars and are not adjustable
