post up pics when you get them installed. I would like to see. I'm currently looking into a set of coilover. What are you doing with your H&R's?

I did some asking around about KW coilovers and I think I might be next in line for them. I know in the VW world they kick ass. I was thinking about going the V2 version.

I see you ordered Variant 1. I am really thinking of ordering a set for drag racing. I don't know of another good way to stiffen up the rear and soften up the front for launching. Let us know how install and setup goes. I am interested to hear your review and see some pictures.

We didn't realize they make these for the Ion, Do you have a part number? We dont plan on stocking these for the cobalt though, as we can have KW ship from Germany to your door in around 2 weeks. Once KW USA stocks these it will only take about 1 week to get to our customers door. Larger, high cost items normally dont get brought in stock unless we see a large demand (5+ sets a month)

I'm not familiar with the Cobalt's setup. What hardware am I going to have to resue? Any chance on upgrading anyting else while I'm int here? Is there a camber adjustment on the cobalt that i'll have to worry about during/after install? I'm assuming the rears are an adjustable spring perch?

Well i finally got them installed and wasnt to bad for my first time. I didnt adjust the coilovers yet. But the ride height is lower then stock and seems prety good. The ride is better then the h&Rs. No vibrations and seem to handle the bumps fairly well. The only thing that i did notice is that the front right makes a little louder then normal noise when hitting a bump. But over all i like the ride, but will find out more when i drive to work next week. That will be the next test. But here are some pics of the kit and when the car looks like installed.

I would put i drive a long distance to work and parts of the road are not so great, so iam playing it safe right now. But it seems that it will go a bit more. I think they say it will go about 2in in the front and 1.5 in the rear. But not totally sure about that.

I just have a link directly from their site.

It'd be nice to get em around $1K too

oh yeah, how do you make sure the ride height is even on all sides with the coilovers
