way to tall for coils you should slam that biotch. oil pans are over rated.

I took it for a quick test drive and it handled some good turns at 60mph. So i would say that it corners pretty good. Not to much body roll.

do you think coilovers are about the same price as buying lowering springs and good shocks?

Ion KW Coilovers

oh yeah, how do you make sure the ride height is even on all sides with the coilovers
They will be really close to the same price as the cobalt setups. Email us when you are interested and we can get you a final price.

a good spring and strut setup will run you about $500-$700

however there are no good struts available

I don't really need coilovers but I'll probably end up with them due to no shocks being available for the delta platform

I would have to agree with that, that is why i went this way. I had to replace a tire cause of the lack of struts and almost had to replace a second tire.

So how do you adjust the rear? That is what I am most concerned about.

Any chance you can explain the install process real quick? I haven't had the chance to look under the car just yet but am a little curious.

It wasnt to bad, it was my first time doing it. But it pretty much the same as changing the stock strut or springs. There is a how to thread on the front stut remove and replace. It gave me a good idea on what to do.

Well i just keep the settings at what they sent them at, but there is some calculations and measurments that you have to make. Its all in the instructions that they give you.

It didnt seem to hard, but you have to measure from the bottom of the tire to the fender and there was a measurement with the springs. Like how muchof the threads are showing at the bottom of the coilover. Its all in instructions, but i didnt really mess with it. The only thing i did was measure the height of the fender so all were even.

Well i have finally gotten to drive the car on a long trip and i would have to say the ride is not to bad. I dont bottom out anymore, so that really makes me happy. Also they seem to handle the bumps fairly well. The only thing that bothers me is the squeek alot when you hit bumps, but from what i have been told is that is normal and they need to break in. So we will see about that. So since there is no struts out for us yet, i would say this is money well spent and i'm pleased. That is my review of the coilovers

Well i finally got rid of that damn squeeking noise. I was a dump ass and forgot to put in the axle bearing in. So now i am really pleased with these coilovers, the ride is very smooth and i give them two thumps up
