left front strut bent!!!!!!!!!!!!

left front strut bent!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay so should i get one new front left strut or would that mess up suspension since i would have 1 brand new one and one used one.....If its okay to get only the one thats bent then is monroe good?

Unless the bent one was very new AND you replaced it with the exact same make and model then I would just replace them both. Keep everything matched up.

No idea if the Monroes are good or not, keep seeing peeps talking up the Konis though

Thanks but i have the cobalt ss/na with fe3 suspension, and my question is that are the fe3 and fe1 struts the same b/c i can get a used strut off a cobalt LT, but if the SS struts and LT struts are different then i wont get the LT strut considering the fact that you said i shouldnt have 2 different struts

AFAIK the FE3 and FE1 struts are interchangeable so should be good to go but.....I have been known to be wrong before

Maven, can you confirm?

Yes FE1 and FE3 cars use the same struts. Unless youre replacing wit a factory FE1 or FE3 strut you need to replace in pairs.

wait i think i read you wrong......so the fe1 and fe3 struts are the same but if im replaceing with factory i need to replace both?????? i dont quite get that???, it doesent make any sense, its like your saying yes they are the same then if i replace i need to replace both lol dont get it, you said one thing then completly said the opposite, could you word it differently or am i just stupid lol im sorry maybe im thinking of it too much


okay so if i were to replace my left strut off my SS with a used left strut from a LT then i would be in good shape?
