you can't really tuck tire and still be drivable. i can tuck the fronts already, and with my new modified rear axle i should be able to tuck the rear. The ride just sucks if you go that low, it's pointless.

Most Cobalt owners have no idea what slammed means. No car on just lowering springs is slammed unless you cut the springs. Coilovers or bags is the only way to go to be slammed.

This is an example of slammed. This is my friends S2K. We installed his Megan coilovers and put them as low as possible

Notice the road reflector under the lip in the first pic.

any lower, and i wouldnt get down the road...AT ALL....i scrape on EVERYTHING as it is and im :just: on springs and struts....just cause i dont have a lip kit to make my plastic scrape on the ground doesnt mean im not slammed...slammed has to do with the relation of the frame to the ground in my opinion...

im running 17" tires with 205/40/17 tires with h&r sport springs (lowest springs without coil overs and damned close to them ) with tc struts...im the lowest cobalt around here lol

oh...and there is no special way to drive down a straight road

not saying anything wrong with the look, i know these cars are not slammed, people just keep asking about it, the only way to slam a cobalt is with bags, and it would not be drivable in that condition, thats all.

sitting on coilovers is pretty stinkin low. i have mine set for comfort and handling, but when i've been to a show or two, i've had to lower the car after i get there, because i will scrape on freeway expansion joints, haha.

most arent too bad, but if the whle road has peaks and valleys and your in traffic...you cant do anything, sometimes there is no way you can take the driveway or speedbump at enough of an angel, sometimes you just cant lol

Scarping on driveways and speed bumps does not make you slammed. My car is far from slammed and it scrapes. Hitting road reflectors means your slammed.

I am not a fan of lambo doors, but I sorta like it on that balt. You had any problems with them not closing or sealing properly?

the only diff between alot of these cars and mine is i dont have plastic hanging down, if i put a lipkit on the car id be scraping road reflectors and all the like...thats why i DONT have them.
slammed street cars are one thing, if your scraping road reflectors then your made the car undrivable...therefor it shouldnt be a streetcar and youve made the car something it shouldnt be....

Sorry H&R Springs for the cobalt do make you low enough to scrape reflectors. They are the lowest spring but not reflector low. Ive seen them in person.

And I know plenty of people who hit reflectors and there car is very much driveable.
