Now I know the instant response is gonna be "it doesnt matter how, its just that it is that low" but the only reason NWAEs car is/seems so low is because of the ridiculously small rubber he uses. put a 215 or 225/45 on that wheel like a normal person and the car will sit 1/2-3/4" higher instantly and be just like most other spring only LS's. 205/40-17s are even SHORTER than the stock 15's. A nice set of 195/45-15s would drop that car another 3/4" lower, then it would be hawt. LOL

Whats with all the bickering over being slammed and how low is too low. **** if somebody can drive a 2.5" tall S2k, but you cant go any lower than 3.75" with your Cobalt who gives a ****? Youd never see me running 205/40-17s but you also dont see me telling NWAE his car is undrivable. In summary, an out of the box, spring only Cobalt isnt slammed by anybodies definition, drivability has nothing to do with being slammed either....slammed is just that, being on the fuggin ground. NWAE, you arent.

BTW....this is slammed:

No, not according to me....according to reality. If you cant lay frame you arent slammed. you might be dropped, or sitting nice, or reallly low, but you arent slammed.

Dont change the focus.

meh, thats just your definition of it lol
this guy started a "slammed thread" and by his definition sitting "real low, or sitting nice" is slammed
to most of the people i know, slammed is just damned low, and laying frame is laying frame...

Slammed = not just lowering springs. I don't know why half this forum insists on posting up pics of their car on some simple lowering springs when people are askingfor "slammed" Cobalts........when its a far cry from being "slammed". My car is on Sportlines, and its not even close to have slammed status.

If you wanna slam a Cobalt.........get coilovers of bags.
