I wasnt talking about his creations, I meant as a person, he always apeared like an *******. Always short and snotty to people.
The ss/na's come with 205/50/17 on them, which works out to be a 25.07 in diameter combo, the 215/45/17's are 24.61 in in diameter, or a difference of .46", so since its diameter divide by 2 to get what the expected change in gap should be, which would be .23" so less the 1/2 a finger change in gap, drive the car around for a few days before you go hacking stuff up.

Ok I have 17 inch rims and 45 series tires on Tenzo springs.
Back fenders I cant get a finger in because it sits so low.. Front I think I can get one MAYBE two if it were my girlfriends small ass hands or something..
You must have either JUST installed your springs.. OR you installed them incorrectly somehow and they arent sitting right.. Cause i know that even when I first installed mine I still couldnt get two fingers in my back fender..
Post pics so we can see the car.. Cause what im willing to bet is that you are really wanting to lower your car by cutting your stock springs cause by the wheel gap you have that matches up with stockers more than it matches up with Tenzo's

srsly? somebody smack him through the internets... and im really suprised that s10s came up more than once...they are a whole different beast and pretty much nothing like a cobalt..except for the badge...and unless you can re flatten the end of the spring after you cut it ...it will ride bad and fck all kinds of critical angles up....
